Diego Huerta
As EWG’s Stabile Law Fellow for 2024-2025, Diego Huerta provides support to the Government Affairs team on projects relating to the “forever chemicals” known as PFAS, food safety and other issues. Diego received his bachelor’s and master's degrees in environmental science from the University of Arizona and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, he interned with the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Justice, and was an executive editor of the Georgetown Environmental Law Review. He also worked in Georgetown’s Environmental Law and Justice Clinic, helping clients pursue environmental justice goals at the local level. In his free time, Diego enjoys cooking, biking and playing board games.
